Another in the series, and thankfully, this one left out Tink, her adopted and psychic daughter for the most part, as well as limiting all the "side characters" and letting us really see Ophelia do her thing. The mystery was interesting, but the split in which Ophelia is dreaming herself as a member of the French resistance (a prior life, she discovers) was wonderfully done.
I had little hope for this series after the last outing, feeling it was going down the same road as the Madeline Alt "witchy mystery" series, but this book made me eager to get the next book, whenever it does come out!
