Reading Through the Nyte

If it has pages, I will try to read it. Admittedly, I will not always succeed, as some books honestly do not deserve to be printed, not to mention finished. After reading them, I like telling people about books-- whether to avoid them or seek them out... and so it goes...

Black Beauty (Scholastic Classics) - Anna Sewell NOTE: I read the Kindle edition, but it refused to come up in the listing.

The first time I read this book I was seven and found it a sad, but wonderful read of the life of a horse, nothing more. Rereading it yesterday, I enjoyed it from a different angle, seeing for the first time Sewell's political and societal commentary rather than the simple story, and despite all of that, it still rings up as a good read.
