Your Cat's Just Not That Into You - Richard Smith, David Sipress Remember that really funny l cartoon you read in the paper once? It was so good you cut it out and put it on your refrigerator, or cubicle wall, only to realize the cartoonist was honestly not that funny… that they were repeating the same joke over and over and over—sort of like Cathy has been doing for the last 20 years. Like Cathy, I’m sure there will be people who giggle uproariously at this entire book, but most of those who sadly pick it up, hoping for a laugh will be making that same face, rolling their eyes and moving to the next comic… just like we do with Cathy. Oh, and in the case of this book, the punch line, no matter what the set up (and the author, thinking himself hysterically funny, does exceedingly elaborate set ups) is the title of the book.
