This is a rather amusing book about the authors’ obsession with candy, along with a pilgrimage to four small candy makers that he made in a long weekend. It was a good read, but the author had too many sidelines and is under the impression that if you fail to agree with his tastes, you kind of suck. The information about the four smaller companies was fascinating, and I’d loved it to have gone on longer, just without the sometimes snipe and snarky commentary made by the author when he felt he knew more than, or was superior to the people he was dealing with at that point in time.
